    Default Smartbuff and pets

I'm going nuts with this. I have smart buff supposedly configured to include the deathknight's ghoul when buffing the party....however the paladins never cast any blessings onto the ghoul. Is there some special thing that I have to do here?

When in the config menu, I expand on the blessing and have made sure that I have the option for deathknight pet selected.

Only thing I can think of is make sure the Grp/Raid size is at 1. And that it's set in Party, not just solo.

You may want to try pally power for blessing pets, and just put the pally power buff command in the same macro as your smartbuff one. I know for sure that pally power buffs pets when asked to.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

I ended up just going with this macro:

    /cast [target=targetpet] spell goes here

Versatile for if I ever group with someone else with a pet.

    That certainly works.
And macros are much less likely to break or need to be updated.

Pretty much, with an expansion Blizzard might change what works / is allowed.
Beyond that, macros don't break with patches.
