Cool Tips for my first team?

    Hi everyone,

The team in my sig will be my first 80 5-box team, I plan on doing a mix of heroics and general farming until I become uberpro, hopefully before cat hits.

As this is my first time, I thought I would leech from the wisdom of all the Dual-boxing.com experts!

Basically, my question is, what tips do you guys have for someone that wishes to have a team composing of:
    Paladin - Tank
    Priest - Heals
Hunter x 3 (BM at the momment, but subject to change for max dps)

I know many will say to switch the hunters for mages/warlocks because of the /follow/shooting range issue, but I would prefer to keep the hunters in the team at least for a little while, or at least until I'm comfortable with dungeon strats.

Anyways, anything you guys can tell me would be much appreciated.
I will be using ISBoxer, so hopefully that will make things easy as pie (Is pie really that easy?)

Set up a 96969 macro for the Paladin; that's the only melee toon on the team, which makes things a bit easier on you.
Basically drive with the Paladin, and use follow (and an arrow key, for slave movement, to break follow).

I would spec the Hunters Marksman, and use the Click Castsequence macro in the wiki. The fall-through is listed as a cast random, but change that to /cast Steady Shot instead. And adjust the commas to your spam speed.
There is no need for pets, with a full tanking toon. (Edit: By this I mean -- Spec the hunters for the highest damage, you won't need a BM pet to tank... probably go Marksman for the ease of the click castsequence. You'll still use whatever pets the hunters have).
Also for hunters, if you uncheck (interface options) to auto switch to melee/ranged that will help; melee combat breaks follow.

Probably park the Priest with the Hunters, and have the Pally move into melee.
Then you can use AoE heals for everyone but the Pally (or the whole team if you're close to the tank), and single target heals on the tank toon.
I'd go Disc on the Priest, but Holy will work just fine too.
Probably have a hotkey for Mend, maybe on the same bind as Renew.

Look into Repeater Region based healing for the Priest.
It takes a while to get used to it, but once you do.. you will never go back to another healing method.

If you stil have RAF, definitely level as many more toons as you can (to 60th) before moving on to this team.
If RAF is done, or you didn't have it, then don't be afraid to mix things up with another team for a change of pace.

Also you can run the Hunters together in battlegrounds, for free experience and a change of pace too.

Its not must but i certainly suggest to consider to replace priest for shaman healer. Not that i think its the best healer but you will get awesome totems and Bloodlust/Heroism. It helts a lot when your in northerend dungeons.

But as for rest setup it is nice and i wish you luck with it. As i am leveling my first setup for now to i can deffenetly say that the hardest part will start with Northerend.

Thanks for the tips, While I am certainly not a fan of shaman's, I may have to bite the bullet and give them a shot as they seem very OP for certain teams.

Unfortunately my RAF ran out when I started a year ago, but I didn't find it overly hard power leveling them this time so another set of 3 could be possible.

Worst case I just start another RAF chain.

I'm thinking running them through BG's will be the best option now as questing isn't too fun without collection quests and for the most part, BG's are easy XP.

If you only want one toon....

Consider doing RAF with one of your five accounts.
Linked to a brand new account, which is only wow classic.
Boost two toons (one on your existing account, and one on the new account), to 60th.

When you pay for a month on the new account, it credits the referring account with a month.
For a net gain/loss of zero.

Then you have the choice of transferring the toon on the new RAF account to one of your accounts.
Or just leaving it where it is.
But you'll have a new healer (shaman) at 60th, having leveled there with RAF speed.

At which point, you can discard the new RAF account (don't upgrade it from classic/original wow at all).
And level your 60 or 60's however you please.
