For the new ICC5 er instances it works too

I never tried the other/older instances because i dont like PvE but im sure its much easier with a disc or holy priest to farm gear

I haven't tried it in ICC, so obviously I'm guessing, but I'm pretty sure that unless you outgear the instance, VE is not going to cut it for tank healing :-)

This is true. At level, the heals from VE stop being enough to keep an honest tank alive around the Underbog.
