How do they get facing the wrong way? I use auto-follow almost exclusively on my 5 paladins and even my mixed teams with casters. I play the tank and put him past the mob, then turn around, and my tank is on the mob's front and my DPS are on the mob's back.

What you might be looking for, though, is Interact with Target (IWT) with Click to Move (CTM), which will run your guys at the NPC and perform the right-click action (attack a mob, talk to an npc, etc). This is extremely useful but can also cause your guys to run past the mob and keep going so you have to be ready to hit IWT or auto-follow again.
