    Default Facing target issues

I have an issue I cant figure out how to solve. Slaves get facing the wrong way in combat. Is there someway to get them to face the target?

They just stay glued to my rear and get all messed up.

How do they get facing the wrong way? I use auto-follow almost exclusively on my 5 paladins and even my mixed teams with casters. I play the tank and put him past the mob, then turn around, and my tank is on the mob's front and my DPS are on the mob's back.

What you might be looking for, though, is Interact with Target (IWT) with Click to Move (CTM), which will run your guys at the NPC and perform the right-click action (attack a mob, talk to an npc, etc). This is extremely useful but can also cause your guys to run past the mob and keep going so you have to be ready to hit IWT or auto-follow again. Ualaa's guide can help you do this (look for Example H)

When ISBoxer 35 comes out, the Quick Setup Wizard adds some Mapped Keys that will handle IWT + CTM -- there's a preview build of ISBoxer 35 available if you come to the ISBoxer chat room and ask for it.

Are you playing ranged DPS or melee? You don't want CTM+IWT with ranged DPS until you know what you're doing.

the closest I have found to an auto face would be 2 step. IWT+CTM followd by the down arrow on all characters. It has to happen as 2 actions to give the IWT time to start heading toward the target.

I use this for any fight with fear or things that move my characters.

King dred from Drak'therona nd Telestra from Nexus come to mind.

For ranged... I just have auto follow on.
Break follow and run the tank in a bit more.
And tank in front of the DPS.

    Sometimes, tank at the DPS.
In which case you run through the DPS, so they turn.

    King Dred with the Fear...
I press my Follow key, followed almost immediately with down arrow (independent slave movement) to break the movement.
Which has them all face towards my tank, who is whacking the dino.

If you are using Strobe Follow, you can stop the Strobe activity via the toggle.
That particular mapped key is two steps, on and off.

Normal follow or strobe turned off, operate the same.
You need to do something to break follow.
This can be turning, forward/backward movement or strafing.

The easiest is to set up some mapped keys for independent slave movement.
Basically copy the mapped key for Slaves Jump (Control Space).
I have an example of this in the guide (in my signature).

I've found adding one of the focusing lenses to a hotkey solves this problem.

    http://www.wowhead.com/?search=focusing+lens

It's a channel that locks your toon to facing its target, like arcane missiles or mind flay, but does not require you to be facing the target to start the channel.
