kk a quick few questions for a big time noob

kk well i just downoaded and my the sservers are down atm, i ahte wastign time adn was wondering if you guys could give me a quick headstart. how do i make the ppl tak to the quest giver do i ahve to swich inbetween each account to acept it or si tehre an button i can press to do it.

A "Quick Headstart" is much easier found from the multitude of stickies and posts made by experienced members who worked hard to make it plain and simple for you. We are not going to give every member a "quick headstart" individually and in their own thread. =P

You have two options Either switch between or each account, or take the quest on your main, click "Share Quest" and make a macro which can on each of your Alts, bind it to a key and press it.[code:1]/script AcceptQuest()[/code:1]

A lot of people use this script in addition to following, accepting Rez's etc.

Realistically... there is no quick head start. The learning curve is steep, and even if you think you've planned the whole thingy out on a patch day you will still spend 2 days or more ingame writing/testing macros lol. Trust me, argh... /facepalm.

Read the stickies, download the suggested addons, etc etc. Try out a few class combos to 10 even, before you invest all of your resources into them.

Most of all, have fun. Don't treat it like a race (you're not wasting time - you're investing time now so that later on you won't have to waste time waiting on others like 99% of the regular WoW poulation on any given night hehe)

Wouldn't these all be seperate? O.o

Also, Accept group, quest, and trade are all used only after the first window (trade, quest, etc.) is open.. what do the latter two do, and under what parameters? I haven't seen this in any of the stickies i've read. =)

It's there. You just skimmed too quickly, like everyone who starts off here.

It's all one macro. You write that macro containing that text, then when you need your guy to accept an invite, a trade, etc, you click it. It will run down each command and ignore the ones that don't work, and complete the one that does. That's why it's handy -- it will do all that with 1 macro.
