The Air Force currently has 18,000 people waiting to get in. They are kicking people out of the USAF for the stupidest shit imo. Not that the AF isn't a good choice, but there are no second chances at least for now. The whole "guaranteed job for the next X years" does not currently apply to the USAF.

PS - The reserves are being heavily abused for long term military holding right now (aka security detail)- like Afghanistan and Iraq. Honestly, its probably the worst choice to make with our current military situation of "baby sitting". Unless you like sand and car bombs (aka IEDs)
If I had to do it over again, I would probably join the Air Force instead.
