Cast Sequence Help

Now that my team has formed and hit lv 19/20, I realize it is time for some small macro refinement.

I have my 4 Taurun Shammy's STOMP talent all on the same key so all fire stomp at the same time. This wastes it and I would like to make only 1 cast it at a time.

Is there a way to do this via macro instead of having it all bound to the " =" key?

How can I also cast sequence the tremor totems so I can get out of the sleep, fear and sheep earlier?

Yeah, just substitute the name of whatever spell you want. Just to make sure, it is "War Stomp", not just "Stomp"

alright cool I will write the macro and give it a go.
Just one more question about macros then....

When do the macros reset? If I press Z (for my war stomp macro) and the first char completes the war stomp and 10 seconds later another Mod comes to the battle and I press Z again, will the first char try to stomp or will the 2nd char stomp? Or do I have to press the Z twice now to get another stomp off?

With abilities like this which are available only every 2 mins, I will want to ensure I keep track of how many time I need to press the macro key to get the ability to fire. :twisted:

The will only reset after the key has been hit 5 times.


I actually use a reset of 3 seconds for my tremor totems, not sure what you would use for warstom.

/cast reset=3 tremor totem,,,,

etc...

Hmm I have having trouble.



This does not work

but this does work

for some reason the commas do not work in my macros. Any ideas? It will not even cast with the commas.

Try:
/castsequence reset=120 War Stomp,,,,
etc.

If you hit the button within 2 minutes of the last time you hit the button, it will just move to the next toon and cast it for them (since their macro will be at the same position). If you don't hit the button for 2 minutes, it will set back to being toon1's turn. The result being that toon5 will rarely ever cast it. I use this with Frost Nova, and it works great.
