Default I have an odd guy out.

I currently box with 5 shamans and I did arena this weekend with a paladin. We went 11-7, which was fairly well, over vent he kept laughing at the people being blown up, but once we got to the 2.1k teams things started going down hill. I'm only ~700 personal rating, so still can't post on the arena forums.

Any who I'm looking to do arena seriously after I get ~1000+. So since I have five shamans it kind of sucks because my leader has ~700 rating, yet my others are all scattered around in between 500-600 range. So what should I do if I wish to progress with them further? I know 1,800 will be a hard goal to achieve, but if I hit that goal I don't want only one or two of my guys to benefit. So has anyone found a solution to this dilemma?

    Look closely to Zappy's team.

rotate the shamans, play more games.

Your choice really is to pvp with only four of them (no rotation required).
Or to pvp with all five, and rotate one out for each few matches.

If your team was Paladin and 4x Shaman (for PvE).
That would be easy, drop your Pally and have the healer join your four.

Once you have a bunch of points saved.
It might be worthwhile purchasing a higher rating.
On my server, there are a lot of people in full arena gear (particularly towards the end of a season) on say 2400+ 5's teams, who sell their services on 2's teams -- your toon plus theirs.
1800 rating for 4k gold, or whatever might be worthwhile.
If you have a bunch of points saved and can get a weapon or whatever.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Some people work on gearing just 4, and leaving the 5th in the dust. I prefer to swap them in and out of matches all night. Once you get close to your MMR and start winning/losing at the same ratio, they'll all bunch back up together.

If you do it this way, make sure to keep your guys within 100 points of the team rating once you're over 1500 if you want them to see full points.

It's also the same reason that I've stuck with keyclone as it's the only software that can mute a single clone. I remember the first time I queued up in thunderbluff before I found the "susnpend broadcasting" option in keyclone, and I heard one of my guys die during the match I'm trying to figure out which guy died. It was the one left back in thunderbluff that jumped to his death. LOL

Here's a little motivation for you:

Keep swapping them around. What I do when the points are far off is always sit out the highest rated guy.

Eventually, you'll find yourself very close on all your guys:
