I'm definetely thinking the same as the OP. However, I do not want to level up a team again... Leveling in this game is worse then watching paint dry. This game really is starting to get boring. I log in, and sometimes i just sit there AFK and wonder what to do.
I have a 10 man team, and to be honest there are only a few 10 boss i can drop, and all the 5 mans. I'm completetly stressed out over making a huge team, to get halted at the difficultly of content. Some bosses are imposible to beat, and on top of that, for a boxer to beat it, you have to be over geared making it worsless.
I really missed the old DAOC boxing. WOW sucks for boxing. every fight is some sorta of danceathon type fight.
I do instances solo now, but the game itself is even more boring on just one toon.
I'm really upset. This game is uterly boring. And I just got back from a month break.
Vek'linash - Alliance
Morra -5 man PVE <League of Crafters>
Prank - Rogue - Solo Toon
PVP Druid Team - Boxone, Boxtwo, Boxthree, Boxfour, Boxfive. 2 Resto, 3 Feral
Bottom line...
Is boxing fun or not?
Boxing gives you some freedom, in that you do what you want, when you want.
You can AFK for 10 minutes, four times in an hour and not irritate anyone.
You don't have to wait for three party members who each take a 2 min AFK, but one after the other as seems to inevitably be the case.
You don't have some idiot need on your hunter gun, for their warrior.
Your loot goes where you choose it to go.
You have 5x the rewards, for things like dailies.
And have the ability to stack things like professions.
You also need to control five toons at once, which can be a pain in the ass in some instances.
There is a definite limit to what you can do, controlling everyone, as opposed to one-boxing.
You can attend every raid, every fight, which is not true for boxing.
One-boxing is a lot cheaper then five boxing.
Maybe you decide to downgrade to two accounts, instead of five.
Or whatever.
But I'd ask again.
Is boxing fun or not?

boxing for the right reasons as mentioned above, i have level teams to 60 and then dumped them, and created a new 5 team to80 and dumped to make a new team to 80 straight after without being botherd about it.
i play because i can do things myself, and dont have to wait on tardness, ive been boxing for few years now and im still intrested.
the better softtware and hardware is getting really opening the door on what can be done. for example we downed lord marrowgar with 2 boxers on 10 man sunday night. check out youtube for multiboxing lord marrowgar you will see me and the gimps.
this what sparks my intrest, getting 251 and 264 gear with other boxers, its just win.
if you bored, maybe your not planning your team properly resulting in fails, if you keep dying on a boss that is easy which is no1 stresszor then i would blame it on human error/bad day/ lag/gear so move onto a different instance. or take a break do something else.
have fun

As usual Ualaa get the point
At the moment i really don't know if is still fun..
Avoiding bad human being is great thing but still don't know if is enough.
Boxing gave me the chance to explore all the classes, macros, specs and this was a lot of fun.
Now i can say i know better the game of 80% of the players.
My feelings are like being at the end of a path and i really don't know if i would start again from the beginning.
This path end because of the raids difficulty.
Maybe the solution will be another boxer for sharing experience but is a hard thing to find, there are not many boxer and we are lonely soul
Another solution will be the nerf of the raids with the next patch ...![]()
Pvp
I geek out about optimizing keybinds, macros, UI stuff etc. so having a whole team to play with is wonderful. PvP is also fun (and I like to think that it adds a bit of flavor for the opposition too... I'm not one who steamrolls folks yet, so there's a lot of free honor to be had by running across me)
As far as progression goes - I pretty much just raid tank solo or run a DPS solo for current teir content.
This.
I leveled a second team to 80 and specifically didn't get them too overgeared. I bought what they could afford off the AH, got 2 badge items with my tank (he had a level 55 trinket!) crafted up some ilvl 200 stuff and then hit the random dungeon tool.
Slamming through a heroic with ilvl 264 gear would be a yawnfest.
Beating a Heroic boss when your basically at gear level? Exciting! My poor wife had to listen to me cheering about that one, and then had to patiently listen to my blow-by-blow.
In the end, there are lots of fights that are harder for boxers. The question is, are they too hard? I did the SFK Love Rocket and wiped all 5 of my first attempts. The second day I only lived on my pally on 2 attempts because of CD's. The third day I only wiped 1 time because of forgetting to put on the stupid perfume/cologne. By the last day of the event I was collecting my 5 free Abyss Shards (with 0 gear change). The fight started off being a "damn Blizz and their stupid movement fights" and then moved to "Wow, I did it!" - and then I posted a writeup here on the forums to share with the community.
So - I would challenge that most fights are "do-able" by an at-gear boxer that understands the fight and can think outside of the box. You have tons of tools at your disposal and you have to think about that when you play. Like the fact that I had a lock on my team and didn't even think to use the pet for 5 wipes. Or to use a mage to Spell Steal, etc. Just considering your team as a DPS powerhouse means you'll have to brute-force all the encounters which means you'll need to out-gear the content - but thinking about your team's abilities (or potential abilities with a re-spec) may get you through content you didn't think was possible at first.
TLDR: I agree with Ualaa. Have fun first.
5 Boxing (85):
Paladin, 2xMage, Warlock, Priest
Paldius, Magria, Magrib, Walina, Priset
Currently:
5 Boxing (85):
Paladin, 3xWarlock, Shaman
Ghallo, Warlisia, Warlisib, Warlisic, Pleo!
Boxing is unique.
Out of the 11 million accounts that Blizzard has stated there are in WoW how many of those truly multi-box? Most don't because of financial reasons and/or computer resources. I got interested because of the challenge in controlling multiple toons using one computer.
I'm still no where near most of you here and it gets very frustrating at times, but I keep plugging away doing this or that. One thing is for sure, there's always something to do in this game. An achievement here, an instance there or rep or whatever.
Until the next expansion comes out, there's still plenty to do![]()
