Thinking about dropping mining/herbalism

Im really down on more then one JC (as you say to cut gems for your own use). Icy prism is a joke (I prospect titanium ore to get the stuff to make the prism and its another losing proposition) and cut gems seem to sell way slower and for about the same (sometimes LESS) then uncut gems. Necklace of the deep (99g) is the only decent seller that I can see.

If you pvp then I think that AlK/Eng is overall the best, after you make one JC. Or ALK/Tailor if you really want to max $$$ but tailor is going to be nerfed soon.

Na, Im going ALK/ENg on like 20 of my guys.

I mainly do pvp, but atm I just want to make as much gold as possible for the least amount of effort. I think it ends up as:....I would need to gather more than 100g of ore a day to keep mining vs going Alk. And that rarely happens if ever.

Even if Alk/JC gets somehow nerfed in Cat.....I could still make a killing up untill it hits. by just selling uncut epics and dragons eyes.

You really only need a single JC, the Dragons eyes on my server are not even a 100% sure sell.
For me I do the Alk transmute and just sell the jem uncut or sometimes cut to a stamina gem which makes an extra 30g to the uncut gem. A lot of gems are selling for more uncut.
