Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to the world of multiboxing and have decided to purchase isboxer and try it out. I have noticed on some youtube videos people multiboxing LOTRO and when they engage a mob they form up into an inverted V , is this a part of the isbox settings, or is there a special macro/command to make this happen, i have read the forums here, and in the psot regarding fast team join. A player there refers to the formation setting too , so he can see all his avatars, instead of them standing on top of one another.

i was thinking of multiboxing 2 rune keepers and 1 warden , does anyone have suggestions or a link to best setup for this, and yes i know people would say go guardian, but i got one of those beofre i started multiboxing, and i couldn put myself through the pain of leveling another one.

For formation setups it just a matter of taking the time to configure your movement key setup in isboxer. Even have a single key send different movement commands to different toons to create the V-effect or any type of formation effect you need. The isboxer wiki is a good place to read a few times to see how to setup your keys you can get some amazing setups going. Tho it is wow-heavy in the tutorials you can still apply some of the key setups in LOTRO some of the basics tutorials can work with any game. 2 Rk's and 1 Warden is ok, especially for the early stuff. But reality wise a guardian is ideal higher up. its hard to manage aggro with a warden on some bosses when a RK is laying the smack down in DPS. But a guardian can hold it a lot better even more so with the changes turbine has done.

thanks so much for the reply, and i will certinally be looking into how to do this. I agree with you 100% regarding the guardian, I have alevel 50 though, so was leveling up the warden as an alt toon. Once i get higher i will probably sawitch to the guardian.

Have you ever boxed Lotro with keyclone. I currently use that, and I'd like to know if you have any tips for special formations with Keyclone.

Atm, when I want my ranged dps to stay and my melee dps to go in, I hit a move key for the ranged one, so he stops following my main char (the melee one).

I used keyclone for WOW but Hotkeynet for LOTRO. You pretty much got the same tactics. When I stop and hit my spread keys. I know it breaks the follow on my lead char. But my arrow keys still let me rotate my support crew at anything that tries to come at me. As soon as i roll out I hit my follow key and they merrily come running like hobbits to a free feast.
