Greetings everyone,
first off; thanks for providing me with both the means as well as a medium to share and learn multiboxing experiences.
second: the "I'm new and I need help" part, sorry
I read the Stickies, so I got some basic means of getting around. I have come across a problem though.
The problem is getting my Hunter to maintain his range. I have a Follow macro, which makes getting around really easy, but I would really like him to stop all movement as soon as either he or the main char (probably a warrior or shaman) get engaged in combat.
Is this possible? The whole idea would be to have a charge-macro on my warrior bound to the same key as my assist macro on the hunter. The Warrior charges the mob, the Hunter assist. Pet gets sent in and maintains aggro, Warrior can go fury while the Hunter increases dps with Auto Shot/Serpent Sting.
What happens now is that the Warrior charges, the Hunter assists, but instead of stopping movement he'll also close in on the target meaning he's not far enough to be able to actually shoot. He's just standing there with bow and arrow not doing anything.
I tried the "Formation / Movement " sticky but it's very unclear to me still. Perhaps the formation thing could help me maintain the distance. Maybe there's a /stopmovement command I can add to the assist macro?
Or should I simply, as suggested by one of the stickies, stick to either 2 melee or 2 ranged chars and not mix them?
