Starcraft 2 Beta has STARTED!!

What did you think of it? I've never been all that much into RTS-games tbh, but I thought I might give it a shot - especially if they manage to nail the rating-system in a fair way.

To me, protoss seems pretty op. Terrain has lost goliaths so they have only marines for anti air early on. Zerg units are weak in general and you need to use the kamikaze units to do damage to ground units. The protoss phase-in ability is great for the backdoor slaughter. I still dont like that if you get dc'd, there is no way to get back into the game, but if your partner drops, you control his units.

i just got a key. I have not played RTS for a long time. I played AoM for about a year on and off ( never was pro at it ) and C&C Generals a bit. I had a lot of fun but was never that good. I'm at the point is WoW that i will be trying other things while waiting for new WoW content and the expansion. I'm DLing SC2 beta as we speak.

agreed. I am in the korean beta, which is fine, but it's terribly boring. It is basically Starcraft I which.. again is fine, but not worth all the hype and excitement, especially given the publicity the game gets here in Korea.
