I forget in which thread the strategy was mentioned, but you can grind the bottom floor of Underbog (up to the first boss). Reset and repeat. You'll probably gain a lot of xp from 60-65 and it might be faster than boosting through ramps. I boosted my team from 65-68 using that technique. I got about a level every 40-50 mins. You may hit the 5 instance per hour cap doing it, but it worked pretty well for me.
Styrr - Legion of Boom - GM
lower floor up to first boss?
i'll try it after i try the sethekk halls method
edit: SH gave me 10% in 15 mins... which is < ramparts in the same amount of time. So i'm going to try out the bottom area of underbog.
edit2: ran underbog 2 times in 10 mins, got 10% of a level. (the bottom part, basically a 1 pull) but that will be a lockout too fast.
Guess it's ramps + looting for 8-10% in 10 mins. 300g per hour while doing this isnt bad i guess.
At this point i'm wondering if it will truely be worth the time put into doing this. I mean i'm looking at... a week of like 8 hours a day of ramps... to get all my teams ready for professions, then using the gold made from that to power level all the alchemy... like... 50 hours of leveling or so. 50 hours of ramps is going to make me want to kill myself. Even @ 300g per hour, thats 3000g per team... 5 teams... 15k gold ish + tons of cloth for the tailoring.
I mean once all my characters are done... it will take me atleast 1 week of gems to make all the money spent back. So i guess after that it becomes very worth it.

MB friendly quest lists from Hellfire to Blades Edge Mtns.
You mentioned, unless there's a crapton of extra experience for mobs 8 levels higher...
Have to mention the experience cap.
Anything beyond 4 or 5 levels (over you), rewards the same experience as whatever the cap level mob is.
So when you are level 20, a 24th (or maybe the cap is 26th.. not sure exactly) level mob might get you 224 experience (picking a number here, not sure the actual amount). However, if you were to kill a level 44 mob, it won't get you any more experience then the 24th (or 26th) level mob.
