I'm planning to start my group with a protection warrior as tank but i have a lot of issue with this

I did just some test in solo in the low instance like nexus.

Fighting the first trash mob in the very beginning my health drop to 50% before i can kill it.. and i'm talking in NORMAL mode

The gear level is around 226 with some 232 and other 213 and these are my stats:

Dumb question but have to ask. Did you have defensive stance up?

isn't the first mob in nexus a caster mob? what about simply healing your tank? what classes are you running with?

The first nexus should be a melee....not really sure about that

I'm doing the test in solo because have seen all blue gear tank working well with low healing help.

Can't imagine the poroblem you are having my Warrior isn't geared much better. I am running 3 elemental shammys and 1 desto warlock and I don't even have to heal except on bosses and an occasional chain heal every so often. You can check my guys out in my signature.

1st mob to the left when you enter is a Caster.

I doesnt really matter what gear you have when trying to kill a caster mob since their dmg simply ignore anything but resistance or dmg reduction talents.

and nexxus mobs are of sufficient lvl to give you a hard time since they are elite dungeon mobs, so dont worry your gear is enough, but also since you are a warrior, use kick etc to interupt it.

What "rotation" are you manually doing?

What does the rest of your team look like? What's your avg group DPS?

When did Warriors get kick? Last I checked that was a Rogue ability. (Ithinkyoumeanshieldbashorpummelsilly)

Warriors have an interupt though Idk the bliz tag for it either

make sure you use all the warrior tools you have, many stunns and spell reflect are great ways to remove alot of incoming damage, allso shield bash for interups
