My team consists of:
Miner/JC
Inscription/Enchanting
Engineer/Blacksmith
Alchemy/Tailor
Enchanting/Tailor
I pretty much use my Alchemy Transmute each day, and learn my Inscription Recipe each day and do my JC daily. I then use my Bank Character to do a 'getall' scan of the Auction House and I buy out all the cheap materials, like cloth, ore, herbs whatever.
I then do Wintergrasp once a week, sometimes more if I feel like it. I make sure I do all the quests. If I have the time I AFK out of 10 5v5 Arena Matches to get base points.
Tuesday nights are very quiet for me. There are never any raids scheduled so I login all my team and I sit and craft:
Eternal Belt Buckles
Ammunition
Netherweave/Frostweave Bags
Flasks/Pots/Elixirs
Blue and Epic Gems
Enchanting Scrolls
I then use a mod called Quick Auctions 3. I setup groups that define things like bags, epic gems, meta gems, ammo, enchanting materials. It uses the values I setup each group with to undercut the current competition and post up all my auctions. I tend to post for 48 hours because I'm lazy and dont care that much about the AH anymore.
This is how I make my money. I can always keep my gear gemmed and enchanted and have lots left over to buy novelty stuff with. For instance I have a motorbike, a travelling tundra mammoth and I've bought plenty of other expensive boe epics and pets and other stuff. I expect I'll go into Cataclsym with well over 100,000 gold ready for whatever the next big money sink is.
I can see wanting a million alchemists and tailors, but at the end of the day thats alot of blue gems and eternals you need to find every day/4 days. Its alot of effort to keep all those x-mutes going. You will get bored of it. My method suits me because I can lazily stockpile everything I collect in my 6 slot guild bank then just spend one night queueing up stuff to make in Skillet and just click "continue" every 10 minutes or so while I watch Heroes or Hosue or something.
