Hi all,
so I am just wondering what routers people are using? I am normally seeing latency in WoW between 90 - 150 but it seems that somewhere I am getting a bottelneck from time to time because I am sometimes in a fight and the screen can "skip" from everyone full health to everyone close to dead (FoS and Ick and Krick I see this a lot). I am thinking now that either internally in my network there is an issue or possibly outside from my cable provider.
I use a netgear Mimo router and I am wondering has anyone got any suggestions as to whether replacing it might help, the router is a 100mbps and there are several gigabyte routers out there that I am wondering might help.
I realize WoW does not use a lot of bandwidth but I would think using 5 clients is using quite a bit of processing on the routing side of things.
Anyone see any performance increase from swapping out a router?
