Bitting the bullet need advice

I cant wait to get cash for my new setup so instead of waiting I am going to level the 3 dps and boost the tank/healer later on but I cant decide between

3 Fire mages

2 Fire mages/1 Destro Lock(Using fire spells)

Advice appreciated

I think the Destro Lock has similar cast times and you'll add DPS with CoE on one Lock, CoS on the other. So yeah, I like the 2/1 combo.
