Default Anyone else see Book of Eli yet?

An interesting movie, if a bit boring in parts. Sorta reminded me of I Am Legend, but with a GOOD plot twist at the end instead of the same old crap. :P

I can't believe that this movie isn't getting released in Aus until May 20th...and they wonder why torrents are so popular.

Based upon your quasi-recommendation here, ugh, we went to see it this weekend. It was surprisingly good.

I thought the movie was bad. If you are a christian and want to get a warm fuzzy feeling that your faith is the one true god you will like it. Otherwise the movie was boring and the plot sucked.

Ok, so I saw Legion the other weekend. I should have just gone to church, pro-religion, anti-abortion and the choir to match. I didn't expect a whole lot, really I was just there for the fight scenes, but I seriously did not expect to be given a sermon.

I think I'm done with the religious movies for a while. Sorry Eli.

It's a post-apocalyptic movie. In hard times, faith is the only thing that sustains some people. For others, faith is a weapon. Thus, the premise of this movie. Are you really surprised?

Multi.. I was actually going to see Legion when I went to see Eli. We were late so we saw Eli. From your description I am going to skip Legion. I just wanted to see it for the fight too. I am pretty excited about the two Greek God movies coming out. I like original old school gods like Zeus. Zeus FTW.

They have a 10 minute or so scene where the leading actress explains that she "felt like she was falling into a black hole" when she went to get an abortion. Seriously, like 10mins. Since the theatre was empty I fired up Bejeweled on my Iphone until it was over. I don't mind messages in a movie, but don't beat me over the head with it.

Oh and one note, if by good plot twist do you mean that he's blind? He's always wearing those glasses, I figured it was a given. Good twist.
