    Default Through BC and beyond

So my RAF time is coming to an end, I managed to get 3 teams up to 60 (hunter, Mage, Pally) all in just under 2 days /played. Then I had to make the choice of what to run with post 60 first up and decided on the following
DK Tank (I want this at 80 for raiding as well as leading my team) currently speced Blood.
Shaman Healer - RAFed up to 60.... his gear needs some work but a few AH pieces, a couple of quest drops and its moved from starting gear to just really crap gear.
3x Hunters DPS - Although with 5 pets maybe I could run 5x hunters using the pets as tanks.... hmmm. Currently 2 are BM and 1 is Marks (For trueshot aura) all using tigers for pets.

So I took my team through a few quests last night, got the hang of things and acquired a little bit more gear and then took them into Ramps for the quest. While I had run my Pallys through some dungeons as a group I found it hardly counts as you just treat them as 1 toon everyone does the same things up to 60 with the only difference being 1 of them heals and 1 has rightous fury up.

I wiped in the first area once due to a bad pull lost my healer a couple of times due to lack of AoE threat(Now fixed my rotation), 1 shot the first boss with nice careful planning. Moved up the ramp and nearly wiped on the caster trash. Changed my DK from actual tanking to 1 button castsequence spamming tanking(So much easier now).
Wiped on the move from small corridor to big area as I pulled 2 groups by accident :/
2 Shot the 2nd boss (Technically the last but everyone does it second I find) Trick was to stack up as the adds go for your team.

Then I hit the dragon... Damn this drove me up the wall. I wiped over and over to various things, DPS in the fire, Tank in the fire, Healer out of range of tank, dragon comes down and goes straight for my DPS/Healer and they all get taken out in 1 fire breath. I needed to repair my gear I had wiped so much (I think I was down to 60% again)
So I walked away, took a break watched some stargate and then came back an hour later.
Cleared the instance again (Apart from 2nd boss went straight to dragon)
About 4 more wipes in he kills my tank, turns around and... DIES finally, damn I was exhausted and my hands were shaking from all the adrenalin.
The main problem I was having was knowing when there was new fire to move out of. But hey I got there and I never have to go back again (I think) Of course now I read up the cheating way to do it :P

Anyway I need to hand in the quest, do a couple more quests (For a bit more gear and maybe a level or 2) then I head into Blood Furnace.

Anyone got any pro tips for that place? I think I will be ok with the eye boss but the run away AOE from the last boss has me a bit worried. Im wondering if its possible to park my DPS just in range of hitting him and then just throw my tank on autorun when he emotes and step back my DPS/Heals 5-10 yards. Dont know if I will get far enough away though.
Either that or strafe my DPS out of LoS of the boss when he emotes.

Stealthy has a decent tanking DK click sequence in the wiki.
It is linked from the Macro/Click sticky in the macro forum.

I'd look into getting the hunters and the DK onto a one button click.
Then spam a single key, gets you decent tanking and dps.
Then you just need to worry about positioning plus heals.
And spamming at a consistent speed.

Checking the movie forum is a decent idea.
You can see how a few different boxers have done instances.
That gives you an idea on how to do things.

Most seem to quest for levels.
And then instance for gear, once you reach maximum level.
But quite a few do instances at the intended level.. so they should be doable.
Your composition has a lot of AoE power.
And can single target burn things down too.
You'll have Bloodlust/Heroism, and strong totem support besides.

Post Script: Stargate rocks.. SG-1, Atlantis or Universe?

The trick on the Dragon is to range him down beforee you take out the last guards, hunters do this so easy!! when you get it down to 10% or less, continue as normal. even my weak druid team can do it (with 80 hunter boosting)
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

I have them down to a macro each, I have them on separate buttons though (2 and 3) This is so I can start tanking without starting DPS.

That was pretty much my reason for a shammy... also they have a better AoE heal then my Pally which was the other healing option I had.

At the moment its SG1, I am rewatching it from the start (Up to season 7) when I am done there I will switch to Atlantis and I just dont like Universe, although I may give it another go at some point.

Did get a chance to do Blood Furnace last night (Instead I watched movies and fished) but should be hitting it today, will update with how I went.

And yeah I know about the ranged dragon trick now :P Next time I do it it will be that way.

No, you won't be able to just back up fast enough. By far the easiest way is to just run in and start DPS. When he yanks everyone to him and starts casting his AoE, have everyone run forward. Then just interact with target+stop to realign and continue DPS.

Some people used to try to Line of Sight him.
Basically fight near the entrance area, either just inside or just outside of it.
Position him, so he's on one side of the entryway.
When summoned, run to the other side, and use the wall to Line of Sight the blast.

    Crude diagram:

    ..... Boss.. Tank....
    ============= WALL ===............. ======== WALL =======
    .............Run Team Here.......
    .............When he AoE's.......

Felguard Area.............................................. ....... Ramp you came down....

It's probably easier to just run through him.
Or to strafe with Q or E.

Backing up will not be fast enough, you only move half speed backwards.

Well damn Blood Furnace is soooo much easier then Ramps. maybe its because I am getting into the swing of it a bit more but only 1 wipe during the whole thing(Well really it was 2 but I reset the last Boss). It was against a bunch of summoners. While I eventually took them down their pets finished me off.
The first Boss was a joke, nothing to worry about. The second boss was a bit more challenging but thats more down to the waves at the start then anything. But I just parked my DPS and healer at the door you come in from and then parked my DK in front of them to pick everything up. The Boss died so fast and has a big enough hit box that I didnt need to move until after he died to avoid the poison.
Final boss I tired to be a bit tricky, and screwed up, basically ran my tank away from my DPS and healer when he did the AoE and couldnt get my tank in range again for heals. Boss ran up and killed a DPS
2nd time through I just had all my range stay at max range, its bigger then his AoE and so all I had to do was run my tank out to them and back again, he only did 1 AoE before he died (Heroic would be more fun due to his pull in)
So 2 down and many more to go. Questing on them ATM and Ill be hitting coilfang soon enough when I get to zangamarsh. I see much research in my future
Once again any tips would be appreciated.

If your healer can decurse magic... that helps a ton on the last boss.
The peons cast something which is +Shadow damage taken.
And is a magic based debuff.

And of course the boss does Shadow damage.
