Hotstring misinterpretation

Hi my name is Melissa(sorta new here), I started multiboxing shortly after Wotlk came out, and then I stopped playing WoW altogether for a short period, I've been back for about a month or two, and my FTL setup seems completely broken..

My keymaps are the same, my bindings in game are the same, I've changed nothing, however I am having an issue with several of my attacks, and I just cannot figure this out..

Example:

A: Shift+1 > bsa
B: bsa > Shift+Alt+Semicolon
C: bsa > Shift+Alt+Semicolon
D: bsa > Shift+Alt+Semicolon

Works fine, however when C is my main, B and D think I am still A.(With SOME abilities, not all of them.)
However A assists C without fail.(suggesting keyclone is sending out the right data?)

C: Shift+1 > bsc
A: bsc > Alt+Ctrl+Semicolon (Works)
B: bsc > Alt+Ctrl+Semicolon (assists A)
D: bsc > Alt+Ctrl+Semicolon (assists A)

As said above, I have checked the keymaps, bindings and macros so many times it hurts, I haven't changed anything since I last multiboxed.(and back then it worked)

I do NOT have Left Alt and Right Alt or Left Ctrl and Right Ctrl seperate, I am using Left for all three(Alt, Ctrl, Shift) so that doesn't seem to be the issue..

When I use the "Pass only Hotstrings" my keymaps work perfectly, everyone assists who they should.(Which I would use without complaint but my override keymap button doesn't work?)

I do not use modifiers in my macros, I use straight /assist toonblah and have three different versions of every spell on each toon.(shut up, I like it that way )


So here's what I've tried and didn't work:

Restoring default keybindings in-game and remapping them one by one.
Turning off every modification key used by WoW interface.(Ex. autoloot, selfcast)
Changing my LAlts, LCtrls, and LShifts into R versions to no avail.(and then changed them back to L)
Shut off every mod in WoW on all toons.
Unmapped every mod key that I wasn't using.

So I am totally out of ideas, if someone can maybe help me to get the override key for keymaps to work at the least, I will be satisfied cause right now my brain just hurts...

From what I can tell, the problem is that you are using a modifier in the main key bind -- "Shift+1"

What's happening when C is the lead, you press "Shift+1", then when it gets sent, a, b, & d are actually receiving "Shift+Alt+Ctrl+Semicolon".

This took me forever to figure out as I had the same problem which is that if you don't use "Pass only hotstrings", the keypress of "1" would actually trigger it and pass whichever modifiers are held at the time to the clones. I can't recall why I couldn't use "Pass only hotstrings", but I know that was giving me more grief than not, so I finally changed all my FTL keys to be unmodded keys then everything works as expected.

I will test this out asap, but my question(if this works) is: Why then has this setup worked previously, and just NOW is messed up?? Did something change about how keyclone sends data or wow?

I'm honestly not sure if anything has changed recently. I swapped over to an FTL setup around last August and that's when I had the problems with it.

I won't be much help unfortunately.
Could not get the FTL to work with Keyclone, which is part of why IS Boxer was so attractive.

Check some modifiers during set up.
So each has a unique set of modifiers.
And have it do all the FTL stuff behind the scene.

But I know KC should be able to.
It was the first software for an FTL set up.
And a lot did manage to get it going fine.
