Team Pestilence (Set-Up and Play)

Basic Set Up

All my other toons are alliance (Cenarius US). I've decided to level a group of warlocks. Actually went with 1x Disc Priest + 4x Affliction Warlocks, with the goal of dominating as a 5-man unit in battlegrounds. Going with the opposite faction, to both experience the content and lore from the other faction's point of view, and to somewhat alleviate the pain of 1st to 80th without RAF by taking my time and smelling the flowers, etc.

I created the team, 5x Blood Elves. Had to use an ascii character " à " (alt + 133), to get the names I wanted: Ebolà, Malarià, Cholerà, Anthràx, and Diphtherià. I decided on Anthràx for the priest, as she is the odd one out; the others are the most deadly diseases of the last 100 years, while Anthràx is a biological agent, not a disease. With the roommates help (10 accounts between us), also created the guild Pestilence; it's not often the first choice in names is available.

I created two horde DK's, ran one to Orgrimmar to be my auction mule, and ran the other to Gadgetzan to fascillitate transfers. Have to love, already having all the flightpaths for the old world. I bought 500g worth of infinite dust on the alliance AH, and transferred this over to the horde side; it was worth 1.5x as much there. Since then, I've been buying stacks of dust on Sunday (25-30 stacks, roughly 20g per stack), and listing as singles (at 2g each) which sell off completely by Saturday. Slow, but steady; not sure I'll have 25k by 80th, but will probably have every other mount by the time I'm high enough to use each.

I also transferred 20-slot Frostweave Bags to each toon, and a 28 slot Soulshard Bag to each warlock.

Software Set Up

I'm using IS Boxer as my broadcasting software. This is how I've set it up:

Character Set (Black Team, 5 Slots)

1 (with ALT) ... Send "1 + Alt" to All Windows.

I've been following the Joana/Mancow speed leveling guide.
So, they are based out of Silvermoon City, and currently in the Ghostlands.



Session 1.
Configuration of hotkeys and IS Boxer.
Guilded the toons.
Twinked them with bags and 20 gold each.
No actual leveling, on this session.

Session 2.
Played from 1st level to 12th level.
Most of my action bars are empty, mainly using the "click" macros (with temporary macros in place) for killing things.
Played with 4x Imps, and the Priest actively DPSing.

Session 3.
Played from 12th level to 18th level, but the server came down interrupting my session.
Did the Voidwalker quest, and Diphtherià now summons the Blueberry; that made the two elite "undead guard" type mobs very easy to kill. Did the level 20 at 17th level and the level 21 at 18th level.
Very much contemplating WSG, for next session. Might pvp exclusively, from x7th until x0th levels.

How is this working out for you?

G3 (Fear Recovery).

I tried doing this two step but the down arrow would only pause them before they continued on. I am manually backing them up which adds more logistics......

Last week I redid all my bindings and removed all Shift "letter" I often forget to turn off keymap when chatting the less keys that pass when I chat the more I like it. I changed all the modifiers to Control.
I like your setup I actually started leveling an AOE group myself I have one mage in my group. I love the names very nice.

Have not tested that in live play.

Have had it as a two step mapped key for quite some time.
But have not experimented with "while held" in conjunction with up/down advancement to the next step.

It looks like it will work.
And it will get you a decent level of control over the movement.

I tried toggling "while held". The key up to run the second step (back) did not work when I tried it. If you have success with it I would appreciate if you would post the keymap for your IWT.
