Default Build 16: Alt-tab bug fixed

At least I think it's fixed.

For the folks who helped me figure out how to fix it, you might find this funny. I must have spent a month thinking about how to fix it. Then we discussed it at length in the last thread.

When I finally wrote the code today, it took about a minute.. Here's a screenshot of the source code. The changes are in blue. That's the entire fix.

On the other hand, I spent the entire freaking day screwing around with the balloon tooltips (the pop ups you see when you click "Hotkeys are off") trying to make them behave like the ones that the OS displays. They are better but still not exactly right

Good thing I posted that screenshot because I just reread it here on the forum and realized I made a mistake. The current build is now 17.

This is what I should have written -- of course I may change my mind in fifteen minutes and post build 18.

They don't work right if you slide the mouse off the balloon onto another program's window or if Active Window Tracking is on. But I wasted eight hours of my life on them today and I think that's enough.

I put a timer on them so they disappear after 5 seconds (more or less depending on your system settings) so it doesn't matter that much.

Is Alt Tab fixed? That was the important thing.

Haven't gotten that far yet. Input Director just released a new beta build as well, so I'm installing that as well (do you two know each other or something? your release schedules are scary similar)

From what I can tell, the alt-tab (sticky alt) bug is fixed. I haven't been able to reproduce it in the newest build.

    Nice job!

    Phew.

We have to split the credit on this one. You found the bug and if you hadn't reminded me about HotkeyNet, I honestly don't know if I would have remembered this solution.

    thx.

I spend a good hour or two last night trying to break it (lots of alt-tabbing and other weirdness) - no issues.

    So what's next?
