Warlock Pet Names

I finally got my other 3 warlocks to 50 and promptly took them to get their felguards like their big sister Doubleo. When my last lock got her felguard I immediately recognized the name! I had to log on Double just to be sure, but sure enough, I now have two felguards in my set-up named Shaathun.... LOL. I might petition a GM for a pet name change.

Well if you run any addons that read the combat log for updates. KTM, Omen... etc.

I think you can actually go in someplace and change the names.

But from what I remember it will unlearn their spells >< And I don't recall what file it is either ...

There is a really good warlock site called "The Warlock's Den". I am sure I saw articles on how to get a new name for your pet on there. This was years ago though.

Ha, that's nothing, i have 3 felguards with the exact same name... Paged a gm and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it... It sucks because i was using healbot, which only showed one felguard, plus omen tracked all 3 as one character so it showed one felguard with 3x the threat. Heh, they are all named Shaathun too.

You can't change Warlock pet names.

It used to be possible a long, long time ago with "/script PetAbandon()", but Bliz fixed that some time. Maybe even in beta, actually - I don't recall.
