Default RAF grant level, anyone tried..?

I was wondering if anyone have tried using the grant level to different faction. Basically you just target your friend and use grant level on him so... why it wouldn't work on different faction?
Are there any limitations to granting levels to characters played by the veteran player?
Yes. The recruit may not grant a level to a character that is equal to or higher than the current level of the character he or she is playing.
Additionally, the recruit may not grant a level to a character that is level 60 or higher.
RAF FAQ doesn't say it wouldn't work either... sooo... has anyone actually tried this?

I doubt it. But has anyone tried granting levels to mobs? I want to see what 82+ Hogger drops!

I believe Hogger is not on your friends account so it would be no go...

Well.. Hogger is definitely out, unless you could somehow be on an account which was RAF invited by Hogger's account.

Based on their FAQ, the boosting of the opposite faction would work.
But somehow.. I don't think it will in actual play.
    Very interesting idea though.
My roommate is sleeping now, but he's got an RAF account going.
I'll ask him tomorrow, and see.

For every two levels a character on the new recruited account gains, they can "grant" a level to one of the veteran player's characters.
The maximum number of grantable levels that can be gained by a single character is 30.
The recruited player can decide to grant all 30 levels at once to a character on a linked account.
The character who is being granted a level has the option to accept or decline the level grant.

Levels can only be granted to the veteran player's account, not vice versa.
Levels can not be granted Cross Faction.
A character on the recruited account cannot grant a level to a character equal or higher than their own level.

Are there are any restrictions on granting levels?

    Yes:
Levels may only be granted to characters on a veteran account by characters on a linked recruit account
Levels may only be granted to characters of the same faction and on the same realm
Levels may not be granted to characters over level 59
Levels may not be granted to characters of equal or higher level
Levels may not be granted once a 90-day account link breaks
Levels may not be granted to veteran characters with XP gains disabled.

Think you also have to be in a party with the person to grant a level to them, not sure about that though.

    No Maxion,

You don't have to be partied with the toon you are granting levels to, but they DO have to be in the same room, area, etc. The granting toon has to be able to click on the receiving toon, much like casting a buff, inspecting their gear, etc etc.
