Default Team DIZ is excited about the possibilities

hi all, been at WoW since TBC intro and have had a variety of experiences and areas of focus in that time depending on time to play, guild 'issues', personal whims/boredom. With my brother-in-law now quitting the game a new area has opened up. With the multitude of accounts/classes now available to me it seems that i can make viable 5 member pve and pvp teams.

i've setup noob 5-man teams of shamans and mages just to get a feel for ISBoxer and Jamba but think it is time to go to the next level and get my first mixed 80 team together and start trying dungeons and arena.

if i take what i've learned so far from the 'pioneers' here, personal experience, and the toons available to me this is what i feel is my 'A-team'.

    prot pally (ret secondary)
    resto shaman (enh secondary)
    frostfire mage (frost secondary)
    SV hunter (BM secondary)
    elem shaman

they are all pretty well geared (3800+ GS) and i know each class 'fairly' well due to me not really focusing on any one class for too long.

setup repeater region and vuhdo last night for healing and almost done with the universal 'spam' key for each toon. next setup challenge for me will be character control as i've been using ISboxer/Jamba 'easy mode' thus far and obviously need more flexibility for dungeons and arena.

thanks again to all, as without your contributions i would have not gotten this far nor have any chance to progress beyond.

Only 2 cents I have is that I would spec the mage Arcane and the Hunter BM, I have both on my teams and Arcane does massive damage and survival hunters have a lot of procs to watch which ultimately can lower your dps. my order of preference for the hunter in a multibox situation would be BM, MM and then survival. I have been playing my hunter as MM and currently looking at BM which seems to give better sustained dps.

You will want a way to move the slaves independently of the main.
If you copy the "Others Jump" mapped key, you can create movement keys for the non-active window.
It is one of the examples in my guide.

In a few heroics/raids, there are things which you should target and kill immediately.
Starbuck_Jones recommended making an extra button in the click macro, which controls targeting.

    I believe his was:
    /assist focus
    /target frost tomb
    /target chaotic rift
    /target guardian
    /use 13
    /use 14

Obviously we won't need to assist focus, as IS Boxer has an automatic FTL.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

excellent, thanks for the input. i'll take the recommendations as my initial group makeup, although i need to learn a bit about arcane as i've never played that spec. i was a BM hunter all thru TBC so that won't be a big deal to pick up - just surprised that it outshines SV in multiboxing as it lags so far behind in solo pve play right now.

The point Naysayer was trying to make I believe is that if all the toons you are multiboxing are not under the same name then Blizzard can ban you for account sharing.
I have not heard of this happening BUT technically it is a violation of the ToS.

hmm, don't think sharing accounts was mentioned. maybe we have different definition of 'sharing' but to me, in WoW context, that means 2 or more individuals concurrently using a single account. as i stated he quit the game and gave me control of his 2 accounts. maybe some purists have philosophical issues with that, but sharing it is not.

ahh, gotcha, thanks. yes, by me playing an account not in my name i am likely in conflict with the 'letter of the law' of blizz. its only a game and i'm not concerned with getting any or all of the accounts banned. if they really want to crack down on customers like me then i'll keep my $75+/mo and move on - i'm too old to worry about such things.

You're breaking the ToS, you douche bag. We don't like that shit here because you make the rest of us look bad. The majority of posters on WoW.com are not intelligent enough to separate the douche bag cheating multi-boxers from the rest of us, and therefor multi-boxing as a whole get's crapped on and closer to the other side of blizzard's "spirit of the game". We keep it clean and everybody stays happy, so take your cheating douchebaggery elsewhere or stop account sharing.
