By default the imp will start attacking after my lock finishes his first cast, his first cast is usually CoA, or CoE, so the imp starts casting fairly soon.

This is my lock spec: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-t...rgaude&group=1

It's a cookie cutter best raid DPS for destro.

So if your infront of a target dummy and you button mash (just for testing) and obviously have all the imp spells on autocast ..

    Code:
    /cast Incinerate
    /petattack
... you see the imp casting fireballs every 2 seconds?

I see no combat log damage from him, except rarely he sneaks a fireball in. I see his casting bar moving but it doesn't complete (I widened the pet unit frame in obnoxious wide just to make sure) I set him on defensive since Svpernova09 has this, shouldn't matter.

Once I stop pressing that button, the little starts actually completing casts.

I'll mess with the actual pet spell i guess, thanks for suggesting that.

    HPVAC:

I know that you feel your question was answered but it looks like you may have missed something.

    With this macro:
    /cast Curse of Elements

And my Imp set to "Defensive"

I can spam the macro and my Imp will autoattack whichever target I am attacking. This could be a target dummy, or anything else. It does NOT require my warlock to be hit/attacked in any way - the moment COE hits the target the Imp will cast.

Note: The Imp will not switch targets until A) I commant it to attack a new target or B) The first target dies.

This actually broke some things for me when they made this change because my voidwalkers of my lowbies would suddenly run into an attack at the worst possible time...
level 20 Lock at 30yds, casts wand on level 35 mob my level 80 pally is fighting (because I want to level my wand skill on the alt and what else is the alt doing anyway). VW set to def decides to attack level 20... runs in and gets 20 guys to aggro him. He goes down fast ... and now the whole group goes straight for the lowbie. Pally now has to try to run to the rescue...

Only way around this is to set the pet on passive.

    /stopmacro [@pettarget,exists]
    /petattack

This will also work and then you don't need to know what spells your pet has (so same macro will work for succy, VW, etc). Your pet will not "hold" a target that it is not attacking.
