I have read the various /click posts and I am sold on the idea that it is a DPS increase over /castsequence. At this point I find what I have for my /click on my Elemental Shaman, opens with Flame Shock, then Lava Burst, then Chain Lightning, finally Lightning Bolt, isnt ideal on trash.

I have run with the /click on my DPS key, and I feel like this is wrong. Note the word feel, I havent compared recount data on trash packs between my /click and /castsequence. I usually go three or four trash pulls and put my old rusty, trusty castsequence back and chain lightning my way to loots. Since I am prone to forgetting to move a boss macro to my DPS key or putting a trash macro back after the boss fight, two macros arent ideal.

Do you have two seperate DPS buttons, for trash vs. bosses? I suspect that I am missing something, and should I just suck it up? As I know my shaman are capable of more dps and go /click all around and euthanize the voice in my head that says, "You are doing it wrong."
