Arrow three shamans vs 2 shadow priests and a warlock

I am wondering what team is better for pvp 3 elemental shamans or 2 shadow priests and a warlock (demonolgy or affliction). I think that demonolgy would give you some tools to deal with a rogue on physcial damage basis when he pops cloak of shadows. Now 3.3 made some cool changes i am wondering how this pans out. Dots sounds so much better now.

I am intending these guys for pvp battlegrounds and hopefully areana

Well i am looking for feedback here, who knows maybe i should just try the ptr but i find its good to find the advice from people who know and play these.

Half the reason i am asking also is my teams will take some leveling to equalize levels out also and its best to ask the experts. Since i know this board is a troll free zone, just like fox news has a no spin zone (lol i had to say it).

If you got mad skills than go with the 2 spriests and an affliction lock. If not, and you're just learning, than go with 3 elemental shaman and go for the Ol' lightning bolt - flame shock-instant lava burst kills on lesser geared opponents.

Don't expect much out of either team because in 3's if you get one character crowd controlled, and you almost always will, you will not have enough burst to kill anything with resil. For the dot team, I believe if played very well they can have a lot of success simply draining teams through massive dots, crowd control, and running away from trouble. Though, you'll still lose to smart teams no matter how much you outplay them.

Hmm ya the elemental shaman does have that bust on lesser geared oppents. I am going to lvl up my warlock to the level of my shadow priests and try to do battle grounds to reach lvl 80. My shadow priests are lvl 64,63. So it woiuld be some advantages gearingwise.

I would imagine i would have to go 5v5 areana to get better success, probally that mage cleave team setup. Having some sort of warrior or rogue to help out greatly and a healer.

Suffice there is even that whole double healer team i have heard about

P.S. I am up for a challnge as i have been a gamer for over 20 years, but i am also looking for the best tactacle advantage and to stack the odds in my favor somewhat

Start small young grasshopper. If you start off with big expectations you will only receive big disappointment.

I have been on a bit of a hiatus from wow for a little while, basically need to focus on a set of chars.

Haha, i totally hear you. I am too much of an alt-oholic and i am trying to put my efforts into an end game team

I know i can't come in and expect to pwn the areana as its pretty tough

I have leveled up a guys and these are the ones i have put the work into

    pally 75 / death knight 68 / death knight 68,
    priest 64 / preist 63 / warlock 32
    rogue 46 / rogue 45 / rogue 45
    shaman 45 / shaman 45 / shaman 63

(i guess there couild be other combos i could do that might work it would be nice if shaman rolled better with with dot classes)
