    Default Leatrix Latency fix

    Hey guys,

Im wondering if you guys are using this tweak to improve your Latency?

Does it affect your fps rate when multiboxing? I read in its faq that can decrease your fps slightly!

I currently just returned to wow and single boxing for now therefore not able to test it out for multiboxing but it did reduce my MS from 220-300 to 80 -150..

Is this the TCP ACK or whatever fix in an addon?

If so, there's guides on how to do it manually in your registery... I'd do it that way, not download some program to do it.

Speaking of which, can somebody link me/this thread to a guide that says how to do this? im on a new computer and forget

Why do a program, bloating up your computer, when you can do it yourself in 1 minute?

There ya go. You basically just go into your registery, create one simple value, and edit another simple value; reboot and then you are done. No programs required!

It isn't a hack at all. You're simply just changing values in window's registry. There is nothing illegal about it. Heck, the guide I posted in on WoW's forums.

The program isnt a wow addon, its a program that does the tcp hack, it also comes with a good uninstall to reset it back to defualt should you wish to do it.

Depending on your system it can affect your FPS, but usually by a very small amount.

Now if mostly all you do is play games and have high latancey this is a good fix, but if you use your system for other things you may want to read up how this may effect other software.

Well I run win7 64bit version, those instruction were for windows xp pro I think, however it might work for win7 aswell I dont know, havent messed with the registry yet on this os.

Like the previous poster added it has an nice uninstall function.

Is that program safe, well you never know but I think so.

Just wanted to know if it added to your mbox experience, decreasing fps or hooking up the cpu, I'm planning on getting back to 5boxing but now with just one machine instead of 3 computers like I used to.

    Current spec::

CPU: 6600Q overclocked at 3.0 mhz
    8 gb ram ddr2
    8800 GT 512mb geforce.
standard harddrive with 32mb if I remember correctly

Im sure that program is 100% safe, but like I said its completely pointless to use it. It just adds another program to your computer, which I personally hate.

I used that exact guide minutes before posting it - I too run Win7 64bit. The registry didn't change as far as these tweaks go. The guide will work perfectly fine, and only take like three seconds to do.

As far as performance goes, I noticed zero difference between the tweak and no tweak. Obviously the one difference there was, was about 100ms less latency.

Your computer is pretty good. Obviously it can be better, but if you limit your WoW settings, I see no problem running a 5box team

the program doesnt cause bloat, its a simple batch file and there is 1 additional value you need to add in win 7 over xp/vista.
