Need ideas to solve DPS problem

Talisman of resurgance is bad, try farminng toc 5(non heroic) for abyssal rune.. Get the emblem of triumph relic, and don't worry about getting the emblem of frost one since it's a very minor upgrade and those emblems are better spent elsewhere.

Yes Resurgance is bad, but it was the best thing I've been able to get my hands on yet to stack with Elemental Mastery for burst (that may be bad too, I simply don't know). But why in the world would you recommend getting the Triumph relic?! Even I know that Hex is still the better relic, and yes I've run my own Rawr calculations multiple times to confirm that.

You're probably not hitting your rotation properly. Keep up flame shock, cast lava burst every cooldown, cast chain lightning if it'll hit more than one thing, cast lightning bolt. Mash keys, don't wait until you see you're done casting. If you're boxing your cooldowns between chars are probably getting desynced thus lowering your dps.

I'm always mashing cast keys with about 0.5 sec remaining (which is more than my estimated latency as displayed with AzCastBar).

I've been known to cast Chain Lightning even if it would only hit one thing, provided that I have Clearcasting up, as I understand it to be a net DPS gain because of the cast time. If I'm wrong on that I need to know.

Lava Bursting every cooldown, and I keep casting LB until it is completely off cooldown rather than waiting 0.5 sec for it to come up. On most boss fights, LB accounts for 70% to 80% of my total dmg done.
