    Default 3.3. Dungeon disenchant deflating?

Anyone else noticed a serious deflating of prices on dust, essences and shards after the 3.3 dungeon disenchant option?

On my server, GCE is 12g, DS 5g, ID 1g...it sucks

Only thing I've really sold a lot of is ID @ around 3-4 gold a piece. Been saving most of the other stuff for my shammy enchants. Thank God I started a long time ago, giving my guild leaders wife, all the Abyss crystals I came across, she is very good about using them for my enchants.

Yea, I really like the disenchant option. But it really should be up to the enchanter if he/she wants to let his profession used for no fee.

Not to start the popular flamewar about the enchanting loot option but....

Enchanters DO have an option. They can unlearn the profession, or thjey can choose to only run with people who won't use the DE button, or they can change the loot system to ML, and ML loot around.

    There is always a choice.

    NOU

    wait what?

Speaking from the perspective of an enchanter:

I really like the change, when pugging before, I wouldn't always fess up that I was enchanter unless someone specifically asked me, I didn't want to collect the blues and DE them, and pass out shards, it was a PITA hassle I didn't want to fool with. Now I don't have to, and when I'm running around solo on another toon, they get mats instantly, so no more having to send everything to my Enchanter and DE them.

Uhm, my point wasnt whether it was convenient or not to have an auto-DE tool available, it was that now everyone can put enchanting materials on the AH which leads to a bigger supply, and lower prices.

And there was much QQ'ing in Gougeland, while those in Buyersville rejoiced at an easing of trade restrictions. As usual, Freepersburg remained a haven of scum and villainy. Visitors are advised to be cautious.

To this point I definitely agree. As most of us who have a high level DE know (we all better have at least one in our group) the market is starting to get saturated even the price of Frozen Orbs is way down. I think this has more to do with Random Dungeons than anything else.

Now certainly most groups that have a enchanter will partake of their services with no charge but I can not help but feel a little used when the skill that I spent money on leveling is so taken for granted. At the same time I have never had a problem with DE'ing and rolling for it but it just feels different when it is so automated and out of your hands. I have not run many groups outside of my 5 man but is skinning treated similarly or a locked chest?

On my server the prices are still holding I guess due to people having a lot of new gear to enchant. I wouldnt be suprised if they drop down soon then rise again for the new arena season.

Ive got no complaints about the prices of mats being lower but I very rarely sell any mats on AH anyway.
