    Default HD4850 enough for 5box?

With some settings to medium is acceptable, I suspect Dalaran wouldn't be smooth, but would it be ok elsewhere?

    Thanks

i have an Asus 4850 512mb. it was not that great ... was considering buying a better card. Then i wiped and installed windows 7. MAJOR difference. I don't know if it was too much stuff installed, the drivers (probably this), or just Vista x64, but the card performs very well under Windows 7 x64. 30+ in Dal on all 5.

The more important question would what CPU and how much memory?

    Thanks for the info.

CPU/RAM shouldn't be a problem, I'm building a new i7 box, but was hoping to use my old graphic card for a while longer until I actually have a need to upgrade for a better card.

Considering there are people who have been happily 5-boxing WoW since the 8800GT was the fastest card around, I should think so. It is ATI, though, so your mileage may vary.

I ran 5 copies on a 4850 through end-game content for several months - worked just fine

    Processor was a q9550, 8gb ram

I'm still 5 boxing a 3870. I don't run into issues except of course wintergrasp when everyone dog piles the door at the end.

Main runs full tilt on all settings
Slaves run around medium with draw distance at minimum I still pull 60FPS + in Dal unless extremely populated.
