Angry ultra bad fps when switching windows

    hi guys

back to multiboxing and was trying it out dual boxing on a free trial when this morning this started happening

(will explain in simplest way possible)

i have both windows open on one screen

joe on the right and bob on the left

when im using joe as my main WoW window he gets 40fps but bob only gets 8-12 fps

so i switch to bob as my main WoW window but then joe is getting 8-12 fps O.o

    why?

thanks guys im sure this is a simple fix :P

if you want to keep them at the same FPS you just need to change the background fps. the command is

    /console maxfpsbk X

Where x is the number you want it. So if you want Joe and Bob to be both 40 you type in

    /console maxfpsbk 40

Now this is highly dependant on what kind of system you are running as you may or may not get the desired fps.

By default the max background FPS is 30. If you've never altered the setting, then it could possibly be your computer that just isn't doing the job well enough seeing as you're stuck at around 8 - 12. I have also experienced that if you have WoW windows are overlapping each other you may experience shitty FPS. But definitely try altering the maxfpsbk yourself and see what happens.
