The tank seems to be the cornerstone, for heroics/instances and such.

As an option, use the dungeon finder tool, and one-box your tank through several heroics and instances.
All you have to manage is the one toon, which makes it a lot easier on you.
And you get to learn the fights a bit too.

After a weekend of pugs, you should have at least iLV 200 in every slot, and a bunch of badges for 2-3 more pieces.
With the much better geared tank, instances will be a ton easier.

Its all about gear. At the start, every little mistake will show you the limits. Did not attack the ice block on the 1st boss of utgarde? You will die. Missing movement on AOE? You will die. Once your gear is decent, you can steamroll those bosses by simply dpsing them down.

The interesting part of the game is.. to gear your toons up to be overpowered. Once they are, you can go for the harder things. Progression. Thats normal. And yes, its hard at the beginning. And yes, its easy at the end. Once you got BiS gear (for a multiboxer), heroics will become easy.

With bad gear and a melee group you will even go to wipe at bosses as like Ionar ..none heroic.

You need to setup movement, strafe right, left, all toons or one toon (in special the healer, if you got melees you just could keep them on the boss while kiting the boss with the tank, and pull your melees out of the fire or poison or void zone or whatever.

Start with easy heroics, as like Nexus or Utgarde. To multibox also means you have to be patient. But once you made the effort, and you got full t9 plus heroic gear plus crafted gear, you will have much fun without major headaches from movement bosses.

This is so true. My DK just dinged 80, has 3 crafted Epics (2 JC and ENG Hlem). The rest are mostly quest greens. Do not use the Random Dungeon Finder when you are at this level. I got a heroic and the group politely asked me to leave after getting wiped in secs on first boss. Pick an easy Normal like Nexas. As the only 80 (others were 77 with a 69 mage tagging along, we did fine, 69 died once and I died at the end so the others finished up and I got the acheivement.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
