Default does the T9 badge gear sux?

is it just me or does the T9 badge gear sux?

I just decked out two of my shaman with complete T9 triumph badge gear and I think I lost 500-700 dps.
I did pick up quite a bit of mana efficiency so I'm sure on a long fight they are better off but for the 5 mans they ... kind of sux.
the totem of electrifying wind seems sub par against the totem of hex unless it's a 5+ minute fight ( some heroics bosses are done in 20 seconds )

I just feel like I wasted all of this time getting the T9 gear and loosing my T8 two set bonus.

    Check your glyphs.

Check your macro timing (T9 screws it up!).

    Check your meta gems.

    Check your enchants.

No it doesn't suck and keep in mind that they are only a 6 point increase over T8 stuff stat wise, meaning that on a slot by slot basis they will not always be an upgrade. As such there will be RNG differences which will show the T8 gear outperforming the T9 stuff. If you are getting consistent differences on target dummies then definitiely do as Fur mentioned above. If you want concrete information on the bonuses of each set then check the EJ forums.

Check your hastes, and also look at the set bonus for ele shams. Play on what THIS set offers, it will change your dps rotation for sure.
