What to gather before realm transfer

Hello

I have a level 80 character on an account that is active at the moment on World of Warcraft

I'll be contiuing with a new team for multiboxing in a few months, but before that, I can gather things on my character before I move him to the realm I'll make my multiboxing team in

I read that you can transfer only 5000 gold with a character when you change realms, so it's a given that I'll have 5000 gold to share between my multiboxing characters for that quick start (items, arrows, skills, glyphs)

but since the gold cap is 5000 gold, what else could I buy?

here's what I've been thinking so far:

- big bags for all multiboxing characters
- 5000 gold to be shared evenly among the new group
- glyphs up to level 80 (minor, major)
- BoE trinkets that will help in the long run
- neat non-combat pets for that small funfactor
- expensive items that can be used as bag-fillers that will be sold back to vendors after the realm transfer has been completed (no reason to move with some bag spaces empty)
- books of cold weather flying (that is if I can amass that amount of gold before I begin 'boxing)

More ideas will be welcome! THANKS!

ps. too bad there's no Dual Talent Spec. books

I thought the limit was 20k gold for a L80...

check to see what sells for higher on the server you are going too, enchanting mats/glyphs/gems or whatever, and just take a buttload of that kinda stuff over

I'm not sure what the gold max is, but I just recently moved over 7300 gold in a transfer. So I would do more research on what the limit is instead of just moving over 5000 and being upset later.

Its 20k per character at level 70-80, also if they loose crap on your character or you bank your screwed (in big red letters)

No point with the books of cold weather flying. They're account bound, and unless you're trying something I don't know about, can't be put on your other multiboxing accounts...

On a side note, I recently moved my solo main, Level 80 DK, onto my tank account where I already had a DK created. Now I have two horde DKs on one account, on the same server. Not sure how that worked out......

I will second the suggestion to check prices and bring items to sell, you might just get someone to buy two stacks of wool cloth from the AH for 50g each like i did last week. Hooray for green winter clothes!

Here are the gold limits:

- Every character to be transferred has to be at least level 10.
- Characters carrying too much gold are not eligible for transfer, as follows:
- Level 10-30: 300 gold limit
- Level 31-50: 1000 gold limit
- Level 51-69: 5000 gold limit
- Level 70 - 80: 20000 gold limit
- An individual character may only be transferred once every 3 days.
- As a security precaution, Death Knights can only be transferred once they reach level 60.

Check the AH for cloth and enchanting mat prices.

If you can afford it also check both servers for the prices of primordials and even battered hilts, maybe you can get lucky and have fun with the economy. :P

Edit: I just did a transfer and took along tons of Molten Core mats that I have been hording to get my druids' Thorium Brotherhood rep up. Once the transfer was complete I flooded the market with all of the mats made about 4k gold just from those mats, I'll probably go farm MC again just for the mats (and maybe legendarys :P).
