how to avoid alt-tabing or how to asigt keys to windows.

Hi, im currently player Everquest 2 with a classic tank/healer setup. with my healer on follow.. this has gone kinda sweet and im almost max lvl. but one thing that is starting to get anoying is that i have to alt+tab every time i want to heal.. i have been looking around for some macros/software but eveything seems to cost money.. and im not ready yo pay for anything.

-question. is there a Free way around alt-tabing that so that i can see only my main characters window "the tank" and then have a keybind for a heal. and then when i press it it does change to the healer window. but the healers starts to cast the heal?

"i run on 1 PC with 1screen, can have 2 screens but cant see how that is importat in this matter since i only care about my tank"

first things you dont need to post the same thing in different sections. if you got it in the wrong section a mod will move it. second what you're looking for is a key broadcaster. i dont play eq but from the brief research i just did looks like the free one that people use is hotkeynet.
