Default Dual Boxing character following character problem

    Hello,

Recently I've started dual boxing in WoW. It worked fine for a while, but recently I've had a problem. When I select for a character to follow a character on another client they will not follow. If I stay inside one client and choose for a character to follow a character on another PC everything is fine. Have any ideas on what may be causing this?

I'm running two completely separate clients, not the same client twice.

    How are you broadcasting?
Hardware or Software (if software, which one)?

    Or are you using Alt-Tab?

Theoretically, either toon should be able to follow the other.
What does your follow macro look like?
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm simply using alt+tab. Since I just started dual boxing and I'm still new to it, I've been selecting my character's portrait and choosing the follow option. I've been looking around and reading on here though, if I really end up dual boxing a bit, it looks like there are some better solutions.

Also, I might have figure out the problem. Prior to having problems with following I was running in windowed mode for both clients, but I started having some problems with my gfx card so I changed back to fullscreen mode. Perhaps when I alt+tab the follow command is being broken?

I'd recommend taking a look at a boxing software option.
IS Boxer (free), but requires Inner Space (36/year subscription) is my recommendation.

However there are a lot of choices.

Having something to broadcast your keystrokes, will make boxing much more enjoyable.
Also check out the addon Jamba; it makes a lot of things much easier for boxers.

    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.
