Xferred to Ner'zhul and...

loving life!!! I transferred my 5 shammys, and my alt bandwagon team - DK + 4 rets (@ L78).

My old server Hakkar has been a dying slowly for the past few years. They've even gotten free transfers 3 different times, and look to be getting close to another transfer again, yet the server always continues to fail with population.

We didn't realize arena points and personal ratings transfer with us, so that was great news. We played a few games Saturday, and having instant queues on a non monday is very promising as we tend to play 50+ matches a week.

Icecrown was the real test for me. On Hakkar, I was lucky to complete the "kill 15 ally" quest over the course of two weeks due to population issues. On Ner'zhul, my alt team easily had 25 kills there in only a few hours. I'm really digging the paladin team for the buffs. My DK goes from 1800 AP unbuffed to over 3k.

Anyone other boxers here? I chose Ner'zhul due to being in bloodlust battlegroup, and ally outnumber horde by quite a margin.

I took the impossibility of being able to finish the "Kill 15 Alliance" quest as standard. Is that not the case on every server? I rarely see anyone in Icecrown ... but one run through Dalaran at 0.5 fps suggests that Lightbringer is not a low-pop server.

I just parked at the shadowvault and killed them as they flew in or tried to fly away. The NPC's wont agro except for like the wandering giest. Or fly around the converted heros and the other spots to ambush players doing argent tournament quests. But yea, it took a while to get the kills.

I think the biggest point is that it is near impossible to do on a PvE server (dunno if any of you are on one), but on a PvP server I expect it shouldn't be too hard to find enough people to kill, at least if the population is half decent.

Im on that server. Havnt played much due to RL stuffs but doing AH every day.

Ya I choose the server also cause ally is more then horde and that means more targets (i.e. victims) for me!
