Default Threat issue? Since last hotfix?

    Hi all,
so over the last day or so I have noticed that I am losing threat on some of the mobs which earlier in the week were not an issue. My first thought is that my warlocks are hitting a lot harder and my tank is not keeping up with them (Tank has not gotten any real gear upgrades over the last week).
Then I also read that the new heroics also are giving tanks issues in holding threat? I am wondering has anyone noticed a change?
I am feeling currently that the dungeons are just feeling that bit harder than before the hotfix the other day. Anyone else notice this or am I just imagining it?
Anyone got any suggestions for my pally tank on how to hold aggro better (I think locks are critting and so pulling mobs off the tank) Omen shows my tank normally way ahead of my dps in threat and then next thing a mob goes after my highest hitting dps.
Btw the dungeons I am normally in are Gundrak, UK and HoL (Gundrak was the most noticeable for losing aggro)
    All insight welcome

i noticed a difference also, but only if i chain pull, if i open up with avengers sheild them i'm good but if i dont then the shammys pull one mob usually when lava burst hits (which is second after flame shock in my click sequence) and i just taunt him back.

All the rest of the mobs aren't a issue, just the first mob of the group i'm focusing on.

Let them hate, as long as they fear.

In general I have felt since that hotfix that runs are just "slighly" harder, but still not sure if I am imagining it , wondering that maybe blizzard wanted to slow the badge farming a little :P

I have not noticed anything different. But then again I am still doing non heroic NR instances cause my toons are not 80 yet. If you have a warrior have him put vigilance on the warlock. This ability transfers 10% of the threat from the target to the warrior. Doing this went a ways to keeping aggro on the warrior.

Also it pays to have an "aggro" reset button. This button is configured differently for each class and put in the same spot. When you hit it, all slave toons drop threat and the tank creates threat. This is one of the advantages of playing a mixed team. You get lots of 'oh shit' buttons.

    yes, paladin's are broken.

I'll be tanking mobs, just chillin, and randomly ALL of them will drop aggro and go kill my healer (not the shaman nuking the shit out of them).

    Something is _very_ broken

Now that you mention it, it does seem harder for my Druid to maintain threat. I'm hitting maul everytime I can lately to just keep a head of my Lock or Shaman. I also tanked a bunch of random heroics yesterday with 4 other guildee's including a Ret pally who just got the 2H from Saurfang. It was almost impossible from keeping him from getting threat. He even agreed to change from SoCom to something else to prevent the cleaves it creates and it was still tough.

I'm wondering tho, if by changing the dodge mechanic in ICC, they had to change threat modifiers because of threat modifiers usually gained from dodging hits (especially in Druids). I'm wondering if that has affected the threat for the rest of the game?

Edit: My Druid doesn't have any issues with Tanking ICC however.....hmmm.

Last night, I hit the trash at the entrance of Telestra's chamber with Avenger's Shield and aggroed her, resulting in a wipe. That was very weird. Thanks for the thread, I thought it was just me.

Also had problems in heroic ToC where the gnome mage champ started in the middle of the three, but was immune to Avenger's Shield because he was in that annoying dead zone against the gate. I thought they'd fixed that, but at the very least, no champ has ever started *inside the fucker. So anyway, I was running toward the champs when my shield failed and ended up body pulling with no aggro.

i had some problems with ele shamans pulling aggro from tanks too in the last days .. but im pretty sure the problem is 4pt9 + em (haste) change => massive rise in aggro gain @ beginn of fight vs tankgear => all stam => same tps as before 3.3 => shamans win in aggro and die ;D i switched some gear / sockets from pure stam to exp/hit/(shieldblock) @ bear(agi greatness trinket > pity stam trinket) and prot pala tanks .. helped alot .

what REALLY sucks is the move the tank while tanking something and all your tanked mobs run around like headless chickens for some secs(and 50% end up behind your tank wich leads to move the tank again) bug .. wich leads to less aggro @ beginn of fight while u try to get this psychos in front of you.

some bosses do funny things for sure (like mrs boss2 in toc hc not healing her add anymore .. but onehitting 22k hp toons (yeah some 30k smites arent funny)) but i think there is no aggro "change" besides the chicken thing.
