Warlock question

Hi all,
so I have noticed over the last few days that my warlocks are putting out quite a bit different in their overall dps.. Darkpowerz consistantly puts about about 200dps more than Auctiontoon.
I have the same macros setup for both toons, the only difference I am seeing is their trinkets?
Also should I have CotE taken out of one of their macro's? or have them both casting it (seems like a waste of mana). Can one do CotE and the other some other curse?

Boxed Characters will never put out the exact same amount of DPS even if their gear and spec are the same because of lag and RNG. As for CotE you only need one warlock casting it because it doesn't stack.

Hint - if you're using click macros, or any 'timing', Auction is missing casts, even though he's hitting harder.
(Edit: Or more likely, not getting that one last shot off, because Darkpowerz bolt is the killing blow).

Wow,,, REALLY good catch, I see it now, I have points assigned different in the tree, no idea what I was thinking with that lol. Need to fix that ASAP, this might also explain his gaps on the casts too.

yes, once I get home tonight I will check this out , should make quite a difference, especially if it cures my spells getting stuck :P

TOTAL FACE PALM MOMENT,
so at lunch I logged in to the toon to respec him and only then noticed that I also had not gotten his last destro spells from when he hit 80. FACE PALM
So I did a quick check on the heroic dummy and things now look much improved

I should say locks are by far nasty 5 of them at once is even worse. I have all mine specd destro and omfgwtffipwn. LOL. Asked the 80 flagged alliance that was attacking tarren mill he how of terrored me i broke it with trinket and dotted him times a lot then played fear spam on him. I was only lvl 66 but still kicked his ass. He must have felt bad after that one.

Yes I remember getting killed by a lock in zangermarsh, felt very stupid, he kept kiting me and I ended up too close to the horde town and the npcs killed me lol. Another face palm moment, I was on my lvl 70 warrior back in BC, since then I never messed with a lock lol
