    Default hc farming with 4 shaman and warrior tank

    Hi all,

    I've just moved my team to Grim finally after a few weeks of hassle from blizzard and i can be united with my tank.

    Now what id like to know is how others deal with 4 + 1 prot, i will assume you control the tank for maxium tanking effectiveness but what spice's things up is casting spells and tanking at the same time.

    would i have to make super macros that consist of clickmacros inbuilt into each other, 1 for dps spam, other for tank spam and seperate one for healing (maybe healing on an modifier, or a completely seperate buttons.

    im hoping to reconfigure so combine pve and pvp.

    any tips or suggestions would be great, im using my old t7.5/T8 warrior. working on new gear atm while im waiting for faction changes (finished tomorrow)

    I use castsequence macros instead of click macros. This saves space on the action bars and allows several extra tricks.

    Tank cast bar --> 1 - 9 = tanking macro
    Tank cast bar --> 0 = Consecration

    Ele shamans bar --> 2 - 3 = DPS macro
    Ele shamans bar --> 4 = All shamans LHW the tank. This usually tops my tank in practically any situation.
    Ele shamans bar --> 5 - 6 = DPS macro on 3 shamans and one shaman spams LHW on the tank. It's like healer, but since I usually use the 4 button for fast top on the tank this is only used in tricky fights where a dedicated healer and ocassional offhealer are needed.
    Ele shamans bar --> 7 = Chain heal cast on the shaman itself as primary target or whatever the tank is targeting if it's friendly. This allows me to stay in AoE without any worry. One of this and the entire group is at 100%.
    Ele shamans bar --> 8 = Same as before, but LHW
    Ele shamans bar --> 9 = Same as before but with the big heal. This is a raid saver when the healers run oom in raids. I also raid with these shamans, so having the ability to keep the tank alive for a minute or two usually saves the day.
    Ele shamans bar --> 0 = Thunderstorm

    I usually run with a pala tank and 4 elemental shamans. In some situations I swap one of the shamans to healer... for example when grinding ICC trash for reputation.

    Resto shaman cast bar --> 1 -2 = nothing
    Resto shaman cast bar --> 3 - 6 = LHW the tank
    Resto shaman cast bar --> 7 - 9 = same as the ele shamans.
    Resto shaman cast bar --> 0 = Earthshield on the tank.

    Cheers man this is going to speed things up for me, just need to adapt warrior for the setup. i havnt got any healer gear but if its really tough icc 's and others then a dual spec might be in order.

    this looks like fun for 3.3

    do you have some of the shaman macros you use? i want to be successful in putting together my macros quickly as ive wasted alot of time transfering and reconfiguring my macros due to pc format.
