First Heroic Cleared

Hi all,
well I finally got everything working and decided to give UK a shot in heroic. I had a little bit of an issue with the last boss but after a 4 th attempt finally downed him (he dropped the cross bow but it seems Nesingway 4000 which hunter has is a better weapon for my dwarf hunter)
So I think it is off to try a couple of other dungeons.

I found Heroic Hall of Lightening, Culling of Stratholme and Drak Keep easiest to clear. I have a heck of a time with UK.

Well the weird thing about UK is that the best advice on the first boss is to ignore the tombs unless it gets your healer or tank. I found that healing through tombs was very viable.
I really feel like I am 4 manning these runs though, because my hunter is not currently hitting even 1k dps. His gear is much weaker than the rest of the team and my macros are sitll not finished on him.
I do believe I may try DK and also Gundrak, have to figure a better strategy for the first boss, my dps is not high enough to just nuke him I think.

Try Survival for your hunter. You can pick up the mana replenishment proc and the DPS is not bad. My 79 hunter puts out 1.3K+ in level 80 instances on normal and is not hit capped yet. Spikes to over 1.6K on some bosses. I also just got aimed shot and it isn't in my rotation yet.

Ok, I looked at your hunter. Er....+10 hit......yes, you are missing a lot. Fix your hit and your hunter dps will be fine.

Yes my hunter needs a lot of work, really not geared him at all yet.

I had trouble with the Dinosaur in DTK at first, lol. Grats on clearing UK. Nicely done!

The last boss is very very easy to beat once you get the hang of the fight. Just spread out your toons in a line while your tank dodges the slams. If he throws his axe just move your toons back to get out of the AoE it does.

Imo, the easiest heroic would have to be Gunthrak or whatever it is called. Every boss fight is just a simple tank and spank which any group comp should be able to handle.

Well I just cleared Gundrak and got the epic leggings for my hunter, helped his hit LOL.
I have an alt with maxed leatherworking but there are really only two items worth doing, Giantman bracers, Troll Woven shoulders and also legs which I now no longer need. None of the crafted stuff has + hit on them
What I can report is that now with the help of Ualaa's macros and click guide my locks are hitting close to 2k dps which is a huge improvement.
Got 8 badges today and looking forward to getting some more tomorrow, I presume as I get more confident the runs will go faster, Gundrak took over an hour due to a few wipes (the heroic boss guy that keeps doing random aggro gave me a few issues lol.
