Default Musings as my team levels.. (some ISBoxer)

So I've been able to run my pally64/shammy66 crew some recently.

This thread is some thoughts, some questions I have and a place for me to kinda keep my "to do" list between work and home.

1- Love ISBoxer, it took some time but learning to hack the FTL wizard output into a focus based system was good for my learning.

2- I need to remap the ~ command that ISBoxer uses for the console, that's always been my interact with target button (I now use the - on the numpad for that, and assist is the Num +, couldn't get used to backspace's impact on chat habits). (searches http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthrea...ighlight=tilde )

3- Ualaa you're a monster by the way. I'll be installing Vuhdo for healing and formations shortly based on your thread, currently I have no formation use F2 to select tank on all 4 and heal. You've been an insanely helpful resource of late.

4- Call me crazy but I don't like follow strobing, maybe it's more needed in LK with phasing. I actually am trying to figure out away to bind a toggle for Jamba's basic autofollow on one of my logitech G keys. When I switch to another toon, focus switches and autofollow, which obviously poses problems when setting up careful positioning prior to a pull, every time I change toons everyone re-follows.

5- What's a simple way to set up a broadcast next mouse click on a G key? Binding to the G keys is a little arcane to me, I've opened the logitech editor, blanked out the defaults and saved and exited, but designating a hotkey the usual way in ISBoxer doesn't work.

6- After I tire of ramps which instance(s) is mostly recommended for chain running to level to northrend? I want to say I've seen Underbog listed. Both from ease of running, useful drops/dungeon quest prizes, and xp, considering the goal is to get to Northrend quickly.

The pally has heirlooms, he'll catch the shammies soon.

I use the G13 from Logitech and just have strobing bound to my g14 key. I do not have it set to autofollow on change, its easier for me.

I like to have normal follow (and master update) on a toon switch.
I don't like to strobe automatically.
But I do like to have the option to strobe, especially with melee toons in a mixed composition.
That way, they melee a bit, and strobe kicks in after combat.

    5)
You can "send next click", on any of the Keymaps.
You don't need a specific keymap to run, for your next click.

My mixed team has Blizzard, Shadowfury and Mass Dispel all on FTL DPS Keymap 4.
I've just added a check mark, to the second from the bottom option, Send Next Click.
And chosen an "action target group" named, "Ground Target Toons" as my target.

If you ever wanted to use a G-Key as a hotkey for a keymap.
In the left pane, click the keymap.
In the right pane, click the arrow beside the hotkey.
Click the arrow in the bottom right of that pop up window.
Scroll down, almost to the bottom, and pick the G-Key of choice.

    6)
After Ramparts, Underbog is pretty decent.
Just about everything is melee based and will chase you.
You'll probably want to leave here at 65 or so, if boosting.

At 66th, you can do Durholde (old hillsbrad).
I really like Black Morass (CoT, dark portal), just don't start the event if you're boosting.
A ton of spiders and skinnable animals.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Good info on the G keys, I hadn't gone that far down the list I tried hitting the G key to populate it.

Not boosting, pally is 65.9, shammies are 66, still questing in zangarmarsh actually.

Also need to put in some round robin stuff for shear, elementals, stuff like that, and learn to use the jamba item bar.

Lots of things I should do to make things smooth but my cobbled together works well enough for most cases.

Is it possible to have certain addons disabled or enabled by ISBoxer on launch? When I tinker with a toon solo I want certain addons, but not when I'm running teams. Thus far it's all been manual stuff.

For the Jamba item bar, I've unchecked "display on master only".
And have created a "repeater region" over the bar.

    Works pretty good so far.

    Not positive on this...

But expand Virtual Files in the IS Boxer Toolkit.
    Click on Config.WTF
Drag the toon, from characters down to the left pane.

This creates a virtual file, for the character.

With the virtual file, you can go with different graphical settings.
And it is remembered on a per character basis.

It is worth checking if it remembers which addons you have enabled.
    It might.

Or you could someone in the IRC: http://www.lavishsoft.com/chat/isboxer.php
