Default Everquest Dual Box, 1 PC

I have been running EQ1 x2 accts on the same machine. I have ran into a problem that I had in the past when trying to run multiple accts on the same machine. When I am in game and have both accts up, it seems like one acct lags slightly behind the other. As if, the accounts are not running in sync. I am still able to run 2 accounts, but am always forced to pick a spot to pull to and stay there since auto-follow does not really work that well.

If I put one on follow and switch to that window, the account following seems to get a mind of its own and will often times run off in its own direction, forcing me to run each account to the desired location one at a time. Would anyone have any clue why this occurring and what I can do to fix it?

    Windows Vista Ultimate
    8 gig ram
    nVidia 9800GT

I don't run any additional automating programs, or anything like EQ windows. Strictly legit according to EULA.

    Thanks.

You won't run in to any EULA issues with WinEQ2 (I don't think EQWindows works any more), EQ Playnice or the default installation of Innerspace. It's been a while since I played EQ, but I think they put code in to the client to detect background sessions and throttle CPU usage and framerate when a session does not have focus. Check the settings page and set all CPU and framerate limits to their maximum setting (i.e. no limits) and see if that helps resolve your issues with background performance.

Hey thanks, that did the trick. Was getting pretty irritating having to stop every few seconds to refollow.
