Its inconsistant. Ive killed him with a pally 4x shaman group on heroic several times. I just dps and ignore the heal. Sometimes he gets 3-4 heals and the first 3 min of the fight is nil, other times he gets one or none and its trivial. 3600gear score and you should be fine. As for phase 2. Interact with target spam. By far the easiest encounter in the place. Trash mobs of thoes packs of 5 are harder.

Yeah 5 pack casters are a chore to pick up and hold. Only wiped on that 1x...some reasojn cpouldn't keep the bonecaster on me. Imo, trash was harder then the boss. But good to know the boss is inconsistent. Hate not to get it 4-5 times in a row. I'd probably bury my fist in the monitor again, lol.

Did him on Heroic on first try.

Group: Ele shammie, Arcane mage, Demo Lock, Holy priest, Dk tank

Tactics:
- park alts at the entrance, pull boss to the opposite side.
- start with BL
phase 1:
- when "Corrupted Soul Fragment" goes for him, target it with alts and kite boss away from it.
- rinse and repeat till phase 2
phase 2:
- Aoe healing
- IWT and /follow when feared
