signups for this weeks raid?

Are there going to be any sign ups for this weekends raid?

Or is it going to be ad hoc?

I run my raids as AD HOC (monday & thursday). See who's on, raid invite and go.

We've been doing Onyxia10 lately only, due to the looming 3.3 patch and a more relaxed schedule with the holidays and such. (lol, "more relaxed"). Onyxia 10 is a gear check - you can't really carry characters there, they all need to pull their weight.

Mokoi / McWrathy has been running the Friday/Saturday night raids loosely, but also trying to get people to actually sign up.

We need to do some "gear up" Naxx10/25 / Ulduar 10 runs, but the last few times I've asked in guild chat "Who's up for Naxx10" nobody responds and wants to go.... so... -meh-

Go go go new 5 mans and get 219 geared up! lol

Hmmm, yeah for the rest of December I probably shouldn't be playing wow due to work overload But I really do want to gear up my tank and healer so they can help get the rest of my toons to 80.

I like the sign ups because so far, I have missed your ad hoc call for Naxx and OS runs, either because I wasn't on or I was staring at a slave toon thats not part of the guild (all my slave toons are in their own guild for better management).

I guess I could do the sign ups, but then I would need someone to pull us through like Fur or Mcwrathi.

That does bring up a good point. "tank and healer" appears to be everyone priority.

If you've got a raid full of tanks and healers (normally not so many healers), then you've got no DPS. And generally when tanks offspec to DPS, they're DPS set is worse then they're tanking set (because of gear priority) so they're DPS suffers.

Hmmm, I'll have to ponder that one. We did to "raid roles" for awhile and sorta forced everyone to pick a raid role and stick with it, and your toon would get loot priority for your raid spec. This worked, but I hate pidgeon holeing people into roles they don't want to do.

I'm down for setting up some naxx 10 "carry" runs. I tried 5 manning it once, and got the boss to 90% before my healer ran OOM. We could either pair up a geared 5 boxer with an undergeared 5 boxer, and run naxx 10 once week, or get the whole guild together for naxx 25 runs. We 20 manned most of naxx before, and we've gotten more gear since then. I'm sure 3 geared boxers can carry 2 ungeared boxers in a naxx 25 easily.

And don't forget that better gear comes from heroics anyway, so make sure to run those! I'd be willing to carry someone through a couple heroics to get a few badges if need be. I'm sure I can 3 man some heroics now, just might take longer.

I need to be carried - OS 25 was a blast and I can use more of that :-) - only thing is I'm rarely on early enough in the evening (ie I'm on post 9pm pst - though today for instance I could be on earlier)

My schedule is wierd asl well. When I have a normal workload I can raid 930pm-1230am weeknights. I put my kids to bed at 9pm.

On the weekend it can be anytime (if not working) but I need to *plan for it* so I don't get family aggro and end up sleeping on the couch.

I would love to do more OS25 it was very fun the last time I did it. I don't know how loot works for us but maybe some kind of rotation...

Well, I'm available to tank or dps most nights from 8pm EST (5 server) till about 11pm (8 server) during weeknights. Not sure on weekends yet as I'm still getting settled out here. Will be a while before I worry about gearing up teams so I'm fine playing solo as long as I can get badges.
