Actually crossfire in eyefinity mode is now "supported" in the latest 9.12 hotfix drivers. And what makes you say you'd need six adaptors for two 5870s? Unless you decided to run with the six-monitor eyefinity edition card you'd only need two.

No, there will be a six monitor version of the 5870 (Not out yet as far as I know). All other versions have two DVI, a HDMI and a displayport (5970 has a mini-displayport instead of normal displayport)

Even with a Core i7 965 oc'd to 4.0GHz, 12GB ram, RAID0 Velociraptors as OS drive, Intel X25-M G2 hosting WoW, and now the 5870.. Dalaran still has some lag to it when 5-boxing. Again, I believe this is due more to hard drive access than graphics performance..

You try to oc like the sapphire toxic 2 Go ?

you still have lag in dalaran ?
You think the one x25 SSD access is too high for 5 wow ?
in dalaran, the x 25 read only wow/data .... and your velo are sleeping ...

i7 965 oc'd to 4.0GHz, and 12GB ram is near to be full or you have again some place ?

and my last thinking ....
with 2 or more screen in the same CG ? how is the % CG ram use ?
it s really worth to have 2 Go than 1 Go ?

i still have my MSI 285 oc 1 Go with one 24in but i want to use more screens very soon
